After you have mastered the basics of setting your Chronos clock, you can focus on getting the most out of your clock. In the last clock article, I briefly discussed "your favorites". To set your favorites, simply select "COPY to 1, 2, 3, or 4" after setting your time control. When you turn on your clock while pressing your left button (while viewing the front of the clock) , you see your other memory time controls. Set these by selecting "COPY to 5, 6, 7, or 8" when setting the time control. Finally, when you turn on your clock when pressing the right button, you get your tournament settings. Set these by selecting "COPY to 9, 10, 11, or 12" while setting your time control. These settings are special, you can use them to track move times. To view move times after playing a game, turn your clock off, and hold down the red button, then press both your clock buttons. Before releasing the red button, release the 2 clock buttons. You will see a display that says totAL ###. ### is the number of half moves you have stored while playing games. Press the clock buttons to scroll through your move times.
